Resolving conflicts as a manager

The rule to follow when you're a manager is simple: intervene as little as possible, but as much as necessary, in conflicts involving your employees. To begin with, it's important to be able to identify latent conflicts and assess their severity. To do this, you can use Friedrich Glasl's nine-stage conflict escalation model. This model clearly shows how a conflict can escalate if you don't intervene in time.
Participants will therefore discover different resolution methods that correspond to the stages of escalation. These approaches range from support for independent conflict resolution to forceful intervention, including mediation and arbitration.
